Priests of Pallas 1924 silvery candlestick festival premium. Priests of Pallas was a festival held in Kansas City in the late teens and early twenties. It featured a huge parade to celebrate the occasion and ran for several years before it was abandoned. Then restarted several years later but again abandoned and never restarted after that. This candlestick is a molded metal design about 10 inches tall and 4.5 inches in diameter at the base. IT has a silvery coating and is a very ornate base design. On front it has a shield shaped plaque with raised lettering that reads “Priests of Pallas 1924....with a raised Roman looking soldier's head and Kansas City” underneath. Overall in good to very good condition, showing wear to the high areas of the designs from long storage, aging, and handling.
